Curtailment Setup

How do you set up the curtailment agent and initial settings for the first time?

Site Configuration

For facilities not yet configured for curtailment, OptiFleet provides a setup wizard.

  1. Navigate to the Curtailment section
  2. Click Let's Go on the welcome screen
  3. Configure:
    • Select the power market (ERCOT, MISO.) If you don't see your power market, please message us in-app for support.
    • Choose the appropriate load zone 
    • Set ramp-up and ramp-down periods. These help avoid stress to electrical infrastructure.
    • Configure hold: the minimum time the miners must stay powered down to avoid rapid cycling.
  4. Save the configuration to enable curtailment.
