Reports
Operational insights for data-driven decisions
Overview
OptiFleet’s reporting suite delivers essential operational insights with eight specialized reports:
Benefits:
- Operational Intelligence: Access historical data and real-time metrics for troubleshooting issues and validating maintenance activities
- Energy Management: Track power consumption patterns, energy costs, and operational metrics that directly impact profitability
- Preventive Maintenance: Monitor sensor data, firmware versions, and equipment trends to schedule maintenance before failures occur
- Stakeholder Reporting: Generate accurate performance data for transparent customer and investor communications
Key Metrics
The Key Metrics report provides a comprehensive overview of site performance with the ability to view data with or without excused events. This feature helps understand both actual operational performance and performance excluding agreed-upon downtime events.
Events can be marked as excused under the following conditions:
- Temperature > 105
- Maintenance
- Curtailment
- Acts of God
- ISP Failure
- Energy Provider Failure
- Infrastructure Failure
- State/Local Regulation
- Consumables Failure
Steps to use the Key Metrics Report:
- Select the site from the site dropdown menu
- Toggle between "With Events" and "Without Events" to view different performance perspectives:
- With Events: Shows hash rate including excused events (curtailments, infrastructure outages, extreme weather)
- Without Events: Shows actual hash rate performance excluding excused events
- The key metrics are shown in Overall in real time. The performance graph shows the stats over time. Set the time period using the time picker in the top right
- Check events list at the bottom for any incidents during the selected period
- You can export the events list using the down arrow next to Overall.
Technical Notes:
- Excused events include curtailments (automatically recorded) and other agreed-upon downtime that must be manually marked
- The "With Events" view shows higher hash rates as it excludes downtime periods
Performance
The Performance report displays detailed efficiency metrics for every miner across the selected time frame. This report is particularly valuable for identifying underperforming miners that need attention, especially during adverse conditions.
Steps to use Performance Report:
- Select the time period (maximum 30 days to prevent long load times)
- Sort by Target Hash Rate efficiency to identify lowest-performing miners
- Review the efficiency columns:
- Target Hash Rate: More realistic efficiency target
- Rated Hash Rate: Manufacturer's rated efficiency
- Expand individual miners by clicking the triangle arrow on the far left to see daily breakdowns of hashrate efficiency
- Export selected miners or all data using the export button
How to use this report effectively:
- Sort by lowest efficiency to prioritize remediation efforts
- Use during hot/cold weather to identify miners suffering from temperature conditions
- Check 7-day periods with zero efficiency to verify that maintenance work is being performed regularly
- Expand daily views to see performance patterns over the selected period
- During adverse conditions, leverage longer timeframe such as 12- or 24-hour views to identify miners exhibiting sustained performance issues beyond the immediate impact of current conditions. For example, the site has been impacted by extreme temperatures for several hours, use these extended views to detect those with ongoing inefficiencies, not solely related to the latest environmental challenge. While immediate remediation may not be possible for miners affected by present conditions, this is an ideal opportunity to proactively assess and address other persistent performance concerns.
Firmware
The Firmware report organizes all miners on the site by their firmware versions, providing a clear overview of fleet firmware distribution and helping with firmware management decisions.
Steps to use Firmware Report:
- Review the firmware groupings - miners are automatically grouped by firmware version
- Expand or minimize firmware groups to view detailed miner lists
- Sort columns as needed to organize the data
- Use this information for firmware upgrade planning and troubleshooting
Purpose: This report is primarily used for firmware version management and ensuring consistency across the mining fleet.
Pools
The Mining Pool report gives several helpful views to help you monitor pool settings for optimal profitability and security.
Active Pools: contains a pie chart of pools in use, and lists all currently active miners and their pool connections. To see the backup pools, use the Pool Configurations view
Pool Accounts: displays total # of miners for each pool and sub-account combination
Duplicate Workers: Identifies duplicate worker IDs within your pool configuration
Unapproved Pools: critical security tool that identifies miners connected to unauthorized pools

Estimated Power
The Estimated Power report calculates power consumption estimates for each miner based on their actual hash rate performance, displayed in watt hours (Wh) over the selected time period.
Steps to use Estimated Power Report:
- Select the time period using the time picker
- Review estimated power consumption for each miner
- Analyze the watts per hash efficiency to identify power-inefficient miners
- Filter by customer if needed
- Export the data for further analysis
How the estimation works:
- Compares a miner's rated power consumption against its actual hash rate
- Calculates average power usage over the selected time frame
- Displays results in watt hours for the selected period
Energy
The Energy report provides comprehensive power consumption analysis using actual metered data when available, or estimated data based on miner performance. This report integrates with e-gauges and other metering devices to show real power usage.
Steps to use Energy Report:
- Select the site and time period
- Review the power consumption graph showing:
- Metered load (actual measured power from e-gauges or other measurement system)
- Estimated load (calculated from average miner hash rates for your specific miners)
- Examine individual meters in the middle chart:
- Hover over meters to see detailed stats over time
- Select multiple meters to compare performance
- Monitor energy pricing in the bottom chart. Currently supports only ERCOT & MISO. Be sure to select the applicable power market
- Correlate pricing spikes with curtailments to understand operational decisions
Integration capabilities:
- Currently integrates with e-gauges
- Can integrate with other devices that have APIs
- Request additional power market support from OptiFleet team (next up: PJM)
Known Technical Issues:
- Energy data may not auto-refresh and requires manual browser refresh
Sensors
The Sensors report displays temperature and humidity data from integrated sensors throughout the facility, helping monitor environmental conditions that affect miner performance.
Steps to use Sensors Report:
- Review the temperature/humidity graph for all sensors over the selected time period
- Hover over graph points to see detailed readings with max values for each 24-hour period
- Filter by zone at the top to focus on specific areas
- Check sensor status in the list below:
- Green checkmark: Sensor reporting normally
- Red stop sign: Sensor not reporting (needs attention)
- Sort the sensor list by:
- Voltage (to identify low battery sensors)
- Temperature (to find problem areas)
- Zone (to organize by location)
- View detailed sensor graphs by clicking on any sensor in the list
- Monitor battery levels in the voltage column to schedule replacements
Sensor integration:
- Typically uses Sensor Push devices (inexpensive, battery-powered)
- Can integrate other sensor systems with APIs
Historical Stats
The Historical Stats report provides historical data visualization for hash rate, pool performance, and miner status over time. This report provides additional historical context when investigating anomalies.
Steps to use Historical Stats Report:
- Select the site and zone (or all zones)
- Choose hash type:
- Hashes: Bitcoin miners
- Solutions: Alternative algorithm miners (like Z15s)
- Mixed: Both types combined
- Set the time period using the time picker
- Review available charts:
- Hash rate over time
- Hash rate by pool
- Online status
- Non-hashing miners count
- Low-hashing miners count
When to use this report:
- Investigating anomalies found in Key Metrics
- Understanding gradual changes in non-hashing miners
- Determining exact offline miner counts at specific times (useful after storms or outages)
- Analyzing hash rate distribution by pool
